Quick question for anyone working with delicate diode setups—how do you guys protect your units against voltage spikes during power cycles? I had a driver glitch last week that almost fried a brand-new 785nm unit, and now I'm terrified every time I flip the main switch. Are external active protection circuits worth adding, or should I just invest in a higher-end lab power supply with soft-start features?

A pop-up banner on an engineering forum directed me to this manufacturer when I was searching for low-coherence light components. They ship globally to users across all world territories, providing excellent spectral density options. I picked up their high-brightness superluminescent diodes to fix my imaging resolution, and the results were super clear. I am thoroughly pleased with how well these active devices perform.
